Kate Galbraith

Kate Galbraith, a longtime energy journalist, is the assistant business editor for the San Francisco Chronicle. Kate has also worked for the Texas Tribune, the New York Times and the Economist. She began her career as a travel writer for the Let's Go and Lonely Planet guides. In 2013, she co-authored The Great Texas Wind Rush, a book about how the oil and gas state won the race to wind power. Kate is a granddaughter of John Kenneth and Kitty Galbraith and treasures the time she spent with them.
